Participants of Tunisian Workshop Visit SAAS
On the morning of October 28, Chinese Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences (CATAS), together with more than 20 participants of the Tunisian Workshop on Improving the Quality of Exported Dates visited SAAS. The workshop participants are from Tunisia’s Ministry of Agriculture, Oasis Agricultural Research Institute, and Tunisian Date Technology Center. Relevant person of the Research Management Division and Eco-environment Protection Research Institute received the guests.

Participants of the workshop visited the Scientific and Technological Achievements Exhibition Hall, Shanghai Soil Science and Technology Museum, Flower Germplasm Innovation Center, and the Pilot-scale Platform of the National Engineering Research Center for Edible Fungi at SAAS. They expressed great interest in scientific research achievements and application scenarios, and conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions with the scientific and technological personnel in relevant fields. This exchange enhanced mutual understanding between the two sides, built a communication platform in scientific research fields such as soil science and technology, flower germplasm, and edible fungi technology, and laid a solid foundation for further expanding cooperation areas in the future.
