From October 14th to November 2nd, the 9th "International Training Workshop on Edible & Medicinal Mushroom Production Technology," funded by the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Science and Technology and organized by Institute of Edible Fungi , was held in SAAS. A total of 19 participants from 7 countries attended the 20-day training. This training course invited Professor Fan Hua from Charité Medical School in Germany, Researcher Li Taihui from Guangdong Microbiology Institute, and Technical Director Tan Fanghe from Chongqing Mei Zai Jun Ye Co., Ltd. to teach and train the participants. The front-line scientific and technical backbone of the institute also took on teaching tasks.

The closing ceremony of the training course was held on November 1st. Vice president Zhao Zhihui expressed his hope to strengthen international cooperation and exchange and promote the research and development and industrial development of edible fungi in his speech. Guests at the meeting awarded completion certificates to all participants. MAHMOOD BASHARAT and MD HAFIJUR RAHMAN, as representatives of the participants, thanked the organizers for their support for this training workshop and hoped to strengthen international cooperation in the future.

The successful holding of this training course promoted multilateral international exchanges between our country and other developing countries, publicized our country's traditional and cultural practices in mushroom cultivation, made them understand the advantages of our country in mushroom production, guided them to develop mushroom varieties with their own national characteristics, and at the same time, enhanced mutual understanding and established friendships, laying a solid foundation for us to go global and carry out international cooperation in the future.
