On July 5, led by Hunan Agricultural Group Co., Ltd., the seminar group of Suriname Agricultural Products Processing and Trade visited SAAS. A total of 23 officials from Suriname participated in the seminar. Zhou Changyan, director of the achievement transformation department, SAAS received the delegation.

During the meeting, Zhou extended her welcome to the visit of the seminar group and introduced the brief situation of SAAS, and gave detailed answers to questions raised by the foreign guests on food processing, quality, and safety of agroproducts, etc. Researcher Qiao Yongjin, director of the Agricultural Products Preservation and Processing Center of the Crop Breeding and Cultivation Research Institute, and associate researcher Wu Di, deputy director of the Processing Technology and Fermentation Engineering Research Office of the Institute of Edible Fungi, participated in the Q&A session.

Anand Komasin Ramki Thornsin, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries of Suriname expressed his gratitude to our hospitality and introduced the agricultural resources in Suriname. He spoke highly of the processed edible fungus products of Shanghai Baixin Bio-Tech Co., Ltd., SAAS. At the same time, he hoped that we could collaborate in the field of processed edible fungi products soon.

Before the symposium, the seminar group visited Shanghai Baixin Bio-tech Co., Ltd. and Shanghai SN Irradiation Technology Co., Ltd., which are affiliated to Shanghai Co-Elite Agricultural Sci-Tech (Group) Co., Ltd. from SAAS.
