To further consolidate the foundation of cooperation between SAAS and scientific research institutions in Thailand, delegation of six experts including Uraiwan Intatha, dean of the School of Science, Mae Fah Luang University, visited our academy. China-Thailand Sci-tech research cooperation meeting was held on May 9, 2023. The meeting was chaired by Zhang Jingsong, director of the Institute of Edible Fungi. Vice president Zhao Zhihui attended the meeting and received the guests.

Vice president Zhao said, as a comprehensive agricultural scientific research institution, Shanghai Academy of Agricultural Sciences had great potential for the cooperation with Mae Fah Luang University and Chiang Mai University in the field of agricultural science and technology. The Institute of Edible Fungi and Mae Fah Luang University have already carried out practical cooperation and exchanges. He hoped that the two parties will further consolidate the good cooperation results in the field of edible fungi, explore more cooperation potentials via multi-level international cooperation mechanism.

Dean Intatha expressed her honor and pleasure to visit Shanghai Academy of Agricultural Sciences. She introduced the history of Mae Fah Luang University and the platform construction of the School of Science and expressed her hope to strengthen practical cooperation with our academy in terms of personnel training, holding international academic exchange meetings and conducting cooperative research.
