The online seminar titled "Improving Water & Nutrient utilization and  Agriculture" hosted by Israel’s Agency for International Development Cooperation – MASHAV, attended by 18 scientific and technical personnel from SAAS and Shanghai Agricultural Technology Extension and Service Center, was successfully concluded on Nov. 30, 2022.

The seminar was specifically designed for professionals from China and was held on every Wednesday in November, with a total of 5 professional’s lectures. The lectures included: SMART agriculture: theory, practice and case study, efficient water & fertilizer management for agriculture, fertigation for greenhouse vegetable, salinity control for saline and sodic soil, and reuse of reclaimed water for sustainable agriculture.

Israel has been committed to the development of water-saving agricultural technology for a long time, which has accumulated a lot of experience in water resource allocation, wastewater utilization, and innovative irrigation technology. Israeli experts in modern agricultural production technology, Roy Peleg and Dan Alluf shared development and promotion in intensive and sustainable and modern agricultural production and SMART agricultural in Israel and introduced new approach of advanced agricultural technology and management strategy from Israel to China.
