In order to strengthen the cooperation and exchange between China and Hungary, under the framework of the Chinese-Hungarian Intergovernmental Science and Technology Cooperation Agreement, recommended by the Shanghai Science and Technology Committee, the cooperation project "Physiological and metabolic characterization of shoots and roots of cereal plants under water regimes projecting adaptive mechanism to water stresses" by Professor Hanwei Mei, SAAS and Gabriella Szalai, Senior Researcher of Agricultural Institute, Centre for Agricultural Research, Hungarian Academy of Sciences was approved by Department of International Cooperation, Ministry of Science and Technology of China and the Hungarian Science and Technology Cooperation Committee. A total of 11 bilateral intergovernmental projects were approved.
