Shanghai Academy of Agricultural Sciences welcomes both domestic and foreign scientists to carry out sci-tech communication and collaboration through various cooperative approaches. 

1.     International Training Workshop

SAAS holds the Workshop on Edible & Medicinal Mushroom Production Technology regularly to facilitate the multilateral communication in the field of edible fungi between China and other developing countries.

2.     Joint Laboratory/Research Center

SAAS has jointly established several international laboratories/research centers with globally renowned universities/sci-tech institutions and international academic organizations. Based on these labs/research centers, SAAS aims to tackle regional and global agricultural challenges with international perspectives by cooperating with global talents.

3.     Young Scientists Overseas Training Program

SAAS sponsors young scientists to conduct one-year overseas academic visit, aiming to improve the young scientists’ scientific research capabilities, broaden their academic horizons and facilitate global sci-tech collaboration.

4.     Foreign Scholar Visiting Program

We welcome scholars from all over the world to visit SAAS and carry out academic communication with SAAS scientists through national or municipal foreign talents programs.
